This investment route is made under Taiwan’s Regulations Governing Permits for Hong Kong and Macao Residents Entering the Taiwan Area and Residing or Settling in Taiwan. You invest NT$6,000,000 to set up and genuinely operate a company in Taiwan; once approved by the authorities, you can live in Taiwan with your spouse and minor children. After a period of residence, and while still meeting the original conditions, you can apply for settlement and receive Taiwan household registration and an ID card.
