Singapore’s GIP is designed for substantial entrepreneurs and family offices, granting permanent residence on approval. Malaysia My Second Home grants 5 to 20 years of long-term residence through a fixed deposit and home purchase, and can include parents. Thailand offers the 10-year LTR visa and Thailand Privilege membership. Malaysia’s and Thailand’s programmes are long-term residence, not permanent residence.

Do these programmes lead to citizenship?
Singapore permanent residents can apply for citizenship when eligible; Malaysia My Second Home and Thai long-term residence do not lead directly to citizenship.
Do I need to live there?
Singapore requires business or residence ties; MM2H applicants aged 25 to 49 must spend 90 days a year in Malaysia; Thailand’s programmes have no minimum stay.
Can I bring my parents?
Malaysia My Second Home can include parents; the other programmes follow their own rules.
