Background
Ms Chan, from Hong Kong, applied with her husband. She wanted to move to Taiwan and run a business.
Main concern
She worried a company set up only for immigration wouldn’t pass review.
Our approach
We helped her plan a viable business that fit her background, and set up its operations.
Process and outcome
She received residence in about 6 months and continues to run the company.
Adviser’s comment
Taiwan requires the company to genuinely operate, so a viable business is the safe long-term approach.
