Short answer: Saudi Premium Residency offers several tracks: besides property, investment and entrepreneurship, there are special talent and high-skill directions. Talent tracks usually examine education, sector, salary or achievements—different from “buy a home for status.” Approval yields long-term residence and certain family rights; whether it equals permanence or leads to citizenship follows Saudi nationality law separately.
Track directions (conceptual)
| Direction | Core |
|---|---|
| Property | Qualifying property value |
| Investment / entrepreneurship | Capital or company tests |
| Special talent | Sector, achievements, recognition |
| High skill | Occupation and salary factors |

Who fits talent tracks?
Professionals with clear careers in energy, tech, healthcare, finance and other priority sectors, with or able to secure local employment or partnerships. Those who only want “status first, decide later” with no sector link should test property or investment fit instead.
Versus UAE Golden Visa
Both are Gulf products with talent and property rails. Lifestyle, tax, schooling and industry focus differ—choose by where the family will actually work and study, not visa length alone.
Global Immigrate note
Map whether your occupation sits on talent or high-skill lists before defaulting to property. Contracts, attestations and police certificates must meet Saudi formality rules. Plan dependants and school access together.
