1. Are all fees set out in writing?
Ask for every service fee in writing, along with third-party costs such as government fees, translation and medicals, and confirm there will be no extra charges after you sign.
2. What happens if the application is refused?
Understand the refund terms: is the service fee refunded in full? What are the exceptions (for example, false information from the applicant)? Can you switch to another programme?
3. How are investment projects vetted?
The biggest risk in investment immigration (such as EB-5) comes from the project. Ask whether the consultant independently reviews each project’s track record, capital structure and exit terms, and ask for a summary of the review.
4. Who handles my application?
Confirm a professional team prepares and reviews your documents, rather than an unnamed third party, and whether further documents or resubmission cost extra.
5. Will they be honest about risks and chances?
A good consultant assesses your background before you sign, and tells you directly if you are not ready — rather than selling a single option.
Our approach
Global Immigrate sets out three guarantees in its service agreement: a full refund of service fees paid if your application is refused; no extra charge for further documents or resubmission; and a professional team, with fees fixed when you sign.
