University
Permanent residents apply to university as domestic students, with fees generally far below international fees, and can apply for government student aid.

While running a business in Canada on a work permit, children can generally attend public school under the province’s rules, without waiting for PR.

- If your children plan to attend a Canadian university, aim for PR before they apply, to pay domestic fees.
