Newzealand Immigration - Entrepreneur Category

People who have held work permit under the Long Term Business Visa category either as a principal applicant or as a secondary applicant can apply for permanent residence of New Zealand under the Entrepreneur Category.

To be eligible for residence under the Entrepreneur Category it is incumbent upon the applicant to establish the following:
  • Holding at least 25% shares in the business for the past two years.
  • Business has been beneficial to New Zealand.
  • Applicant or any of his/her family members included in the application drawn social welfare from New Zealand Government.
  • All persons included in the application are having good health.
  • Persons included in the application above 16 years are required to meet minimum standard of English as prescribed.

Under Entrepreneur category Golian Consultants Ltd. provides following services to its clients:

  • Provide checklist of documents required to be filed with the residence application.
  • Liaise with accountant of the applicant to finalise the documents.
  • Upon instructions from the applicant reply to queries (if any) raised by New Zealand Immigration Service.
  • Apply for extension of permit(s) if the residence application is not approved prior to expiry of permit(s).
  • Advise on the alternatives available to the applicant if there is any doubt on getting an approval under the Entrepreneur Category.
